Collective Wisdom
We do not walk through this
lifetime alone. On the journey with us are friends, family, acquaintances, and people we do not yet know.
For some people, friends serve as family.
Independent individuals tend to rely heavily on their own judgment and reasoning to tackle life’s problems.
The trouble with this approach is that nobody can see the whole picture. Individually, our perspective
is narrow. Each one of us has a limited number of puzzle pieces. We
use these pieces to make an educated guess about the missing parts of the picture. Since nobody knows everything,
such conclusions are frequently wrong or deficient. Unfortunately, ego can make us defend our most indefensible
decisions, to our peril. Newsflash!
Other people are holding some of the puzzle pieces we need. Because of their particular education, training, experience,
or network, they know something that we don’t. Pride can keep us from asking for their help.
If we don’t ask, they can’t share what they know. Have
you seen families that keep their business to themselves? Sometimes this makes sense. At
other times, it cuts them off from the collective wisdom that could be of great benefit. Nobody can assist
us if they don’t know we need help. We may have prayed for a solution,
but do not recognize Divine intervention when it is channeled through a chance acquaintance or a family member.
We think our prayers have gone unanswered. God can speak through other people. Going it alone can lead to costly mistakes. By Divine design, we are here on Earth in
the company of other humans. Why not reach out, listen, and partake of the collective wisdom of the group?
Today is a fine time to start.

At last, the deed is done. My new life coaching book, Path of the Wise Spirit: A Guide for Your Life, has been published at Amazon.com. Both the print version and the e-book version are available now. The
e-book is accessible on your computer, smart phone (Android, Blackberry or iPod), Kindle and other e-Readers, iPad
and other mobile devices. The print version is available at Amazon and will be in other locations very
soon. This book is a practical, spiritually
based guide addressing those issues that have been keeping you from reaching your goals. Personal workshops, stories,
essays and poems in the book all help to point you in the direction of success and happiness. I was guided by the
Holy Spirit to share this information with you. Much of the material was channeled. You will find that Path of the Wise Spirit is an invaluable guide for managing everyday, practical matters and for successfully addressing challenges
and changes in your life. Special feature! You can lend the e-book to a friend for up to 14 days.
