CELEBRATIONS
For many people, this is the season for celebrating joy. Whether we celebrate the birth of Christ, Kwanzaa, Hanukah,
or the festive feeling we get this time of year, the energy level of the world increases in December. This is a time
when we remember that we are all connected. We are inspired to help one another and to allow love to be our designated
driver.
What a blessing to have this annual reminder of who we really are. For a few weeks, our vibrations quicken. Listening
to or singing festive music and allowing ourselves to be entranced by twinkling holiday lights helps us to maintain and
radiate joy.
What if we allowed this joyous season to redraw our life patterns throughout the new year? What if there was a way to
sustain love, caring and connection long term? Actually, there is.
Long term joy requires a shift in our intentions and in our thinking. Regardless of current circumstances, all of us
are powerful and creative. Denying that power and creativity or using it selfishly produces negative results.
We can celebrate every day by setting our intention, staying focused through affirmations, and thanking the Creator
for making all of this possible. We can begin right now with this affirmation: I am a center of joy, love and thanksgiving. Blessings flow through me and radiate out to everyone.
Thank you, God. Did
you notice yourself smiling when you affirmed these words? Celebrate! Love and light, Patricia
