WHERE IS GOD? What you are about to read may challenge your
perspective on Divinity. When I was a small child, my wise grandfather taught me that God is everywhere.
He is inside you, above you, below you, and all around you. There is nowhere on earth, in the Milky way, in our universe
or in all the universes where God is not.
We don't have to look up or out to find God. He is closer than breathing.
He is the energy source of love, intelligence and power that underlies everything. My journey has taught me that God
expresses Himself as you and as all other physical forms. He also expresses Himself as non-physical energy. There
is nothing that is not either a physical expression of God or an unmanifested expression of His pure potential.
God is always present.
How, then, do we explain evil? God gave man and other conscious beings
free will and creativity. To put it mildly, we have collectively misused those gifts. As powerful beings with
choices, we have attracted both good and bad outcomes.
We are asleep (unconscious). In our earthly dream, we forget our
spiritual nature. We set our intention to separate ourselves from God, from certain people, and from the well being
of our planet. This is an illusion because we cannot truly be separate. God created humans as interconnected beings.
We are individual expressions, but not separate expressions. No man is an island. Imagine an invisible
cord connecting you to everything and everybody. When you yank the cord joining you to a friend or foe, the vibrations
reverberate through the universe. Those vibrations return to you in a powerful way. You receive, in some form,
the result of your original intention toward the other person.
How, then, can you hate or resent anyone without hurting yourself? Wake
up! The enemy you see is also made in God's image, with a portion of His gifts. He or she may be deeply unconscious,
but the God potential is there. We are all one, part of the Source of All. Where is God? He is where you are
right now. With your next breath, you can set an intention to let God's love continually express itself
in your life. Then, blessings will flow through you and as you. Right where you are, you can begin to transform
the world. Let God be God in you. Love and light, Patricia

Open Your Eyes
One day, you will
find yourself facing a negative, uncomfortable or even painful experience. Your first instinct will be a desire to shield
yourself from it. You will be tempted to close your eyes and make it go away. Dismiss that temptation. This experience has appeared for a reason. It is a life test.
In order to pass it, you must open your eyes. Don't pray to the Creator to shield you. Rather,
ask that He guide you through it. The discomfort you are feeling is the struggle to break through to a higher level
of consciousness. Feel the pain and keep moving forward. Divine Grace is walking with you and through you.
Don't let fear hold you back, lest you be stuck in a rut for years on end. Do you recall learning how a snake sheds its skin and grows a new one as its body becomes larger?
That is similar to your challenging experience. You are shedding old thoughts and beliefs that limit your growth.
These old thoughts have attracted the uncomfortable but necessary transformation opportunity you are having. Thank God for
the chance to become new and to expand beyond your old boundaries.
Keep your awareness in the present moment. Release the past. Affirm "I am ascending to a higher plane
where I have a clearer view of life." Ask your inner spirit to help you as you evolve. Trust that you are
growing stronger, wiser and more loving. Just ahead , past the turbulence, is a growing awareness of your life purpose. One of my favorite poets, William Wordsworth, wrote
these lines in 1805. They ring true through the ages.
From The Prelude, Book Tenth
Then was the truth received into my heart, That, under heaviest sorrow
earth can bring, If from the affliction somewhere do not grow Honour which could not else have been, a faith, An elevation and a sanctity, If new strength be not given nor old restored, The blame is ours, not Nature's.
